Locations/Taxes menu
Countries
This menu lists all of the countries to which you ship orders. Customers will be able to select any country listed on this page, so you must delete from this page any countries to which you do not ship.New Country
Name — Enter the name of the country as you want it to appear in your store.
ISO Code (2) — Enter the 2-character ISO code for the country.
ISO Code (3) — Enter the 3-character ISO code for the country.
Address Format — Select the format for addresses in this country. The formats are as follows:

Edit the details of the selected country.
Delete
Remove the selected country from the database and prevent customers in the country from placing orders.Zones
Zones correspond to states or other standard territories used in mailing addresses. If a customer does not enter a valid zone in their address, they will be prompted to select a zone from a drop-down list.New Zone
Zones Name — Enter the name of the zone as you want it to appear in your store.
Zones Code — Enter the standard mailing code (i.e., CA for California) for the zone.
Country — Select the country in which this zone is located.
Edit
Edit the details of the selected Zone.
Delete
Remove the selected zone from the database.Tax Zones
Tax Zones do not correspond to official mailing addresses, but rather let you control how your store charges tax. If a customer's shipping address is within a zone, the tax for that zone will automatically be charged on all taxable products in that order.Note that only the name of the tax zone is created in this menu. To set the rate of tax, you must first create the zone here, then establish the rate in the Tax Rates menu.
Insert
Zone Name — Enter the name of the tax zone as you want it to appear in your store.Zone Description — Enter a description of the tax zone.
Edit
Edit the details of the selected Tax Zone.
Delete
Remove the selected tax zone from the database.Details
View the country and zone associated with the tax rate.Tax Classes
Tax classes (such as "Taxable Goods" or "Non-Taxed") control whether CRE Loaded will charge tax on specific products in a customer's order.New Tax Class
Tax Class Title — Enter the name of the tax class.Description — Enter a description of the tax class.
Edit
Edit the details of the selected tax class.
Delete
Remove the selected tax class from the database.Tax Rates
Set the rate of tax charged on products in this menu. Note that only the rate of the tax is created in this menu. Before you can enter a tax rate, you must first create a tax zone in the Tax Zones menu and a tax class in the Tax Classes menu.New Tax Rate
Tax Class Title — Select a tax class. You must first create the tax class in Tax Classes.Zone — Select a tax zone. You must first create the tax zone in Tax Zones.
Tax Rate (%) — Enter the rate of tax.
Description — Enter a description of the tax rate.
Priority — Enter a priority for the tax rate. Tax rates of the same priority will be added together on the order confirmation screen and on the invoice, but the total amount of tax of each priority will be listed separately.
For instance, if a customer buys two products with a tax class priority of 1, on which taxes are 0.25 and 0.75, and two products with a tax class priority of 2, on which taxes are 1.00 and 2.00, the order confirmation screen and invoice will list two entries for tax:
Tax: 0.75
Tax: 3.00
